Communications with CAI Vision: SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

CAI Vision provide a range of service and maintenance options for communications systems regardless of whether they were installed by us. The complexity of such systems, combined with the fact they are often distributed across a number of individual dwellings, means that problems can occur. Communications and security systems are vital for residents and it is important that when problems do occur they are resolved as quickly as possible, if they cannot be prevented in the first place.

Maintenance engineer

As well as servicing systems on an ad hoc basis, CAI Vision conducts Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits, which greatly reduce the risk of breakdown. PPMs are usually compulsory within Local Authority maintenance contracts.

At present, CAI Vision maintains systems for many Local Authorities, housing associations, private landlords and managing agents.

Many of our maintenance clients manage multi-dwelling developments whose residents use systems which are maintained via a Maintenance Inclusive Rental Agreement.

Operations Administration Manager

As well as excellent service, many of our clients require daily reporting on the status of maintenance projects. Our Operations Administration Manager, is responsible for client liaison often via a direct computer link, such as the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham’s computer controlled maintenance system, CORMIS (Computer Operated Repair and Maintenance Information System).

CAI Vision has developed and implemented a quality management system that meets the requirements of International Standard ISO 9001:2000. This ensures that all installations and maintenance meet the requirements of the contract and that our business is committed to continual improvement. The quality system requirements specified in these International Standards are complementary to the technical requirements.
